Purpose and ways of drinking

Purpose

“Balance alpha ” was produced based upon its former product, “EMX” which is a drink for people, applying EM technology. Those who produced and/or sold “EMX” produced “Balance alpha ” with the object of making a better product.
( Please refer to the page “What is EM?” concerning EM.)
Accordingly, “Balance alpha ” has the same purpose that “EMX” does.

Dr. Teruo Higa who is an “EMX” producer and responsible for establishing EM technology widely mentioned the following in his book “Great revolution to save the earth”:“ Resistance to sickness is generally the power of immunity.
Too much oxidation, that is the generation of active oxygen impedes immunity and anti-oxidization substances impede this oxidization.
All EM micro-organisms have the function to generate anti-oxidization substances and anti-oxidization function is related to the effectiveness of “EM” in the growth of animals and plants and also in environmental purification at all stages.
Thus, “Balance alpha ” aims to impede too much oxidation in the cells of the human body and let the original human immunity power work sufficiently by itself.

( Although we have many unknown points about how EM micro-organisms produce anti-oxidization substances, we have results from experiments with mice that “Balance alpha ” enhances immunity power. (Please refer to the page on immunity vitalization data.)

Difference between “Balancealpha” and “EMX”

Mr. Tsuyoshi Takahashi, who had supplied brown rice as an ingredient for “EMX”, former drink , produced “Balance alpha ” with the support of the engineers who participated in developing “EMX”.

Mr. Tsuyoshi Takahashi adhered to the quality of water more than anything when he created it.
There is not plenty of high quality water in Okinawa Prefecture , where “EMX” is produced, because it is a small island in the subtropical zone with no high mountains.
The quality of water becomes a vital factor in the process of fermenting EM microbes.
EM cannot execute its original function together with many other different microbes and its fermentation doesn't proceed well with oxidized substances.
When Mr. Tsuyoshi Takahashi searched for a production site for “Balance alpha ”, he attached the utmost importance to a place with good water and selected Haguro-town, Yamagata Prefecture from among several locations and this is where the present factory is situated.
Haguro-town is situated at the foot of Mont Gassan (Altitude:1,980 meters) and has spring water throughout the year.
But Mr. Tsuyoshi Takahashi decided to dig a well to 250 meter depth and directly suck up subsoil water in order to obtain water which had negligible exposure to the air.
This pristine water with neither oxidization nor breeding of micro-organisms characterizes “Balance alpha ”.

Brown rice is the main ingredient for both “Balance alpha ” and “EMX”. However they have different sub-materials.
Sea weed and tropical plants are used for “EMX”, while the seeds and leaves of loquat, edible chrysanthemum , plants of the temperate zone and brown rice are used and fermented to produce “Balance alpha ”. (Concerning materials please refer to “Presentation of materials”.)

As “EMX” production process is not completely disclosed, we are not sure if the following point is different between them. Low temperature sterilization is applied at the sterilization process of the final production stage for “Balance alpha ” but high temperature and ozone sterilization are never carried out. For it gets rid of the change in quality, as many of so-called anti-oxidization substances are ferments coming from amino acid.

The low temperature sterilization brings the merit of keeping genetic information on EM microbes.
After the sterilization there is no sign of life activity in a bottle and it can be sold as a refreshing drink (under Japan 's laws). However after several days of the bottle being opened and glucide (feed of micro-organisms) inserted, fermentation begins.
It means that effective micro-organisms revive ,because the genetic information has remained in the DNA.

Recommendable ways to drink

As “Balance alpha ” is defined as a refreshing drink( food) under Japan's laws, we cannot issue instructions on how much to drink. ( Because in Japan only medicines can carry instructions on the required dosage.)
However “Balance alpha ” is basically OK to be taken in any way.
We may recommend you how to drink as follows.
For those who drink “Balance alpha ” for health and anti-aging purpose, 20 ~ 30ml (one cupful of the measuring cup provided ) a day is recommended when you get up in the morning with an empty stomach

For those who drink “Balance alpha ” to control symptoms of chronic ailments such as diabetes, liver ailments, etc. , 20ml before every meal are recommended.

For those who drink “Balance alpha ” to achieve increased effectiveness of remedial cancer treatment, 20ml before every meal are recommended.

For those who feed “Balance alpha ” to domestic animals such as dogs, cats and so on 1ml per 1kg of its weight a day is recommended.

There is no problem to drink “Balance alpha ” mixed with other drinks or food.
However, if it is put into high temperature drink or food ( over 60 degrees Celsius), it may lead to a change in quality, what is not recommended.
